some sad news to share with yall today. we had to

some sad news to share with yall today. we had to put down beans this morning. about a month ago the vet found a congenital heart defect exacerbated by late treated heartworms prior to her rescue. she was in a lot of pain and we didn’t want her to suffer anymore. earlier this week we celebrated our one year anniversary with our girl. after amelia matched in new orleans for residency, we snuck away from the party to apply to adopt her. it was the best year. wish we had a few more, beanie girl. you’ll live on through everyone you tried to steal treats from ❤️
